Background on

Booyco’s Railway Systems

Booyco Engineering has been building customized HVAC systems for the rail industry since 1990.

We have qualified systems for many South African customers such as Transnet Engineering, as well as many international rolling stock manufacturers, such as Bombardier, Alstom, CRRC and Siemens. An example of our work is the design and build of an electric locomotive Cooling Tower for Bombardier Transportation (now Alstom) which is used on the 240 23E locomotives being built for Transnet Freight Rail.
